Bernd Zomerdijk joins PayShield as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing a wealth of experience in chargebacks, fraud prevention and business development. With a track record of establishing strategic alliances and promoting innovation in the payments sector, Bernd has been instrumental in assisting companies in reducing risk and streamlining their payment processes.

Bernd previously led the Ethoca-Mastercard Asia-Pacific partner business, having built the business from its infancy whilst providing a bridge from East to West. Bernd is highly experienced in providing chargeback resolution and fraud protection solutions in international markets. His advanced skills in business success, along with his expertise in international business, have allowed him to manage enterprise relationships and develop impactful strategies. PayShield’s dedication to providing merchants and payment stakeholders with state-of-the-art solutions is further reinforced by Bernd‘s vast experience in company development and his profound understanding of payment and chargeback ecosystems.

Heading up PayShield’s new European office, Bernd will focus on driving global growth with a strategic focus on the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) market. His leadership and expertise will be key in expanding PayShield’s presence in these regions while continuing to support global efforts to mitigate fraud and reduce chargebacks.
